Update from Judy Byrum - 9/4/2008

Hello,

For those that are interested in Shaggin' on Augusta, here is info.  Beau Sanders suggest to park in the small parking lot behind the Wachovia Drive-Thru.  It does not fill up until about 5 PM but after 5 PM parking gets pretty tough. I would suggest to bring a chair!

I believe Kathryn Gaffney, Bill Wright, Linda Williams Slaton and Beau Sanders will be in this general area around 6:00 pm. Please let me know if we should see you there!  CHAIR!

Saturday, Sept 6, Lewis Plaza on Augusta Road....."Band of Oz"......1st Oyster Roast and Shrimp Boil.  CHAIR!

We will hold our next 60th birthday dinner on Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00 pm at "The Blockhouse".  The birthday day girls are Kathryn Gaffney, Libby Chamblin ( we will miss you ), Barbara Moore and Jane Lineberger.
 
Some great news:  Judy Chappelear Foster is recovering very nicely.  She is sleeping a great deal but the doctors said this is her way of healing.  Her doctor is very happy with the progress she is making.  She asks that you continue to pray for her quick recovery. She would like to thank everyone for their prayers and cards. We hope to see her there!
