Our reunion meeting was held at Curtis and Palmer's home on Sunday, April 15, 2007. The attendees were Curtis, Linda, Kathryn, Becky, Beau Sanders and Judy Byrum. Beau, I do appreciate your help on our website and being brave to be surrounded by so many "good looking female baby boomers".
We reviewed our expenses for the reunion and now we are looking to find a way to build up funds for the next reunion. Please forward any suggestions you have to us. We did not get a fundraiser planned but would like to come back to this idea!
We also discussed our own celebration for our 60th Birthday next year. Did I say 60?
We did, of course, plan a fun get-to-gether! Bring your chair/blanket and join us on Thursday, May 24 at Larkin's Rhythm on the River. This is behind the Peace Center. The entrance fee will be $3.00 to hear "The Ninth Row". We will be centrally located between the pavilion and the band. I know they sell hamburgers, wine, and beer but did not get prices. John Owings said Class of 65' will be there too!
We discussed having a supper club (including spouses/significant others) and a lunch club. Please give us your suggestions and how often you would like to have either of these events.
